"Burriculum"

Hi all, colleagues and lovers of art!

I Cruz Jurado Traverso, artist by profession, a few years ago.

I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, a May 3, 1978. In my childhood and adolescence I lived in provinces such as Jujuy, Córdoba, enjoying the contact with nature, which taught me a lot.

Again in Buenos Aires, after finishing school and "ride around" for different universities, I ended up studying at the Institute CONSUDEC, where I graduated with the title of Professor of Fine Arts, specializing in drawing and painting.

Later did postgraduate seminars at the Instituto Superior de Bellas Artes Ernesto de la Cárcova.

I started my own workshop / art studio "The Homer" in which I learned a lot of researching, making mistakes, raising challenges, making reproductions of the great teachers, teaching drawing and painting ...

In between workshops I was learning in artists such as Marcos Borio, Jorge Rajadell, or conversations with artists such as Axel Amuchástegui or Helmut Ditsch. Among other things, I learned to follow what your heart tells us, that we must take it with good humor, knowing how to laugh at ourselves ...

Seeking to share in my work, with grateful eyes, which have given us all here we are: the love of art and beauty through art.

I hope with the joy of doing what I love, be helpful to others, doing the best you can.

I dream of a better world and seeks to build every day a little more.

I learn from my mistakes and my failures. I am passionate about learning, research and try to improve continuously
enjoy the little things: a glass of water, birdsong, a beautiful song, a good memory, a smile ...

Thanks to art I have met many people and traveled to many countries. I have been enriched by the friendship of many people, and I can say, grateful that my work is in countries like USA, Spain, UK, Ecuador, Brazil, Argentina, Canada ...

Currently I live and paint in London, UK.
